‘Fuller House’: Go behind the scenes of ‘Full House’ sequel

The 13-episode sequel (of sorts) to hit ’90s sitcom Full House, Fuller House, is set to stream on Netflix starting Feb. 26.

Internet TV critics are already buzzing about the show — mostly negatively — but do admit there’s a certain nostalgia for the series. Most of the original Full House cast members reprise their roles, including John Stamos as Uncle Jesse, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie and Candace Cameron as D.J. The Olsen twins, who played baby-then-toddler-then-child Michelle, did not return.

According to the stars of the show, Fuller House maintains its identity as a family program, but it has more of a contemporary feel in terms of jokes and plotlines. Plenty of original cast members continue to drop in throughout the series, and you can rest assured that there are plenty of group hugs.

“It’s nice to be back doing something you love with the people you love,” said Dave Coulier, who plays Uncle Joey, to ET Canada. “I think all of our concern was there was a right way to do it and a not-right way to do it, and this is the very right way to do it. They nailed it.”

Some critics on 广州蒲友 didn’t mask their feelings.

“In later years, historians agreed that the release of #FullerHouse singlehandedly pushed society into the wasteland we now call reality.”

Even laypeople are blasting the show.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen better be glad they don’t have 广州蒲友 or they would be getting some VERY ANGRY TWEETS RIGHT NOW!!!! #Fullerhouse

But the overwhelming majority of people are anxious and excited for the show’s return.
